Liverpool striker Divock Origi set for Real Betis

Real Betis are preparing a bid of €11m to land Liverpool striker Divock Origi this summer, according to fresh reports.

Despite scoring the winning goals in both the Champions League semi-final second leg against Barcelona, and in the final against Tottenham, he is reported to be a potential candidate for an exit from Anfield.

The 23-year-old only started four Premier League games for Jurgen Klopp’s side last season but did manage to score three goals in the competition – including a last minute winner against Everton in December.

The striker originally joined the Reds from French club Lille in the summer of 2014 for a €12m fee, but he has never nailed down a regular starting spot at the club.

Earlier this week, Estadio Deportivo reported of strong interest from Betis with the stumbling block being the player’s wages, which currently stand at €2.6m annually.

Now, Bein Sports in France cites a report in English outlet the Metro that the Seville-based club will once again come back in for the striker.
