AC Milan make loan approach for Dani Ceballos

Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly considering a two-year loan bid for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.

According to reports in Italian sports daily Gazzetta Dello Sport, new Milan boss Marco Giampaolo wants to make the Spanish international one of his first signings at the San Siro.

Ceballos, 22, has caught the eye on international duty with Spain during the U21 European Championships, and a number of clubs are reported to be keen on buying him – including former side Real Betis, and rivals Sevilla.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is overseeing a clear out of players this summer, with fellow midfielder Marcos Llorente already moving on to Atletico Madrid, and Ceballos has been widely linked with an exit, as Zidane pushes ahead with a move for Paul Pogba.

Los Blancos have utilised the long term loan system in recent seasons, with Martin Odergaard and James Rodriguez, but whether or not Ceballos would be open to a temporary move remains unclear.
