Sevilla set for La Liga transfer spending spree

Sevilla are set to undergo a summer transfer overhaul ahead of the 2019-20 La Liga season. 

According to reports in Estadio Deportivo, the return to the club of Monchi, as sporting director Monchi and the installation of Julen Lopetegui as head coach at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan.

They have already completed the signing of defender Diego Carlos from Ligue 1 side Nantes, however they are also set to make a move for Gent full back Dylan Bronn in the coming weeks, amid interest from local rivals Real Betis.

Bronn, who can also play at right back, has been on their radar for over a year, and could be the first of four potential signings at the Andalucian club, as Monchi looks to work his magic at the club again.

Montpellier midfielder Florent Mollet, former Fiorentina midfielder Ianis Hagi – who enjoyed a brillinat goal scoring season from midfield at Romanian side Viitorul Constanta – and Sevilla striker Carlos Fernandez also on their list of targets.
