Kylian Mbappe dismisses talk of Real Madrid move

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has distanced himself from a potential move to Real Madrid this summer.

Zinedine Zidane's side have been linked with a host of top players from across Europe's major leagues, as he looks to remodel his first team squad following a poor end to the 2018-19 season.

However, despite being on the list of names connected with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, Mbappe insisted there is no update on the situation.

"Now is not the time to talk about a move to Real Madrid.

"This is something that I am asked about a lot, but I have said that I will be at PSG next season.

"You (the media) always ask this question, but now is not the time."

Whilst Mbappe's stance on a move to the Spanish capital in the immediate future remains clear, speculation remains that he will look to move on should PSG fail to meet his career expectations.

Los Blancos have been busy in transfer market so far ahead of the 2019-20 campaign, spending over €250m on Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao and Rodrygo – wither Lyon defender Ferland Mendy set to join in the coming days.
