Tottenham are interested in a move for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, according to Football London.
Mauricio Pochettino is reported to be willing to sanction a €60m bid to bring the Argentina international to North London, as his side look to bounce back from defeat in the Champions League final.
Lo Celso started the 2018-19 on a season long at the Estadio Benito Villamarin, and the Andalusian side exercised their purchase option on the 23-year old back in April - signing a deal until 2023.
However, Spurs are still hopeful of persuading Real Betis to depart with attacking midfielder this summer, but they may have to increase their current offer to get a deal done.
The Rosario-born schemer has a release clause in his contract of €88m, and his current side are likely to demand that is met before any negotiations are opened up on a move.
