Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet admits ‘we are all very attentive’ to hear the future club of Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.
The two will link up for international duty with France while the forward has been strongly linked with a move to the Camp Nou this summer after confirming he was leaving Atleit.
“Griezmann is one of the three or four best La Liga players, he has been in the championship for many years and he has scored many goals every season,” Lenglet is cited as telling reporters by Marca.
“He has been the star of Atletico de Madrid and one of the great stars of LaL iga, we have not talked about Barcelona.
“He is leaving Atletico, but he has not commented on his fate yet, we do not know where he is going to play, we must wait, but we are all very attentive.”
The 28-year-old confirmed earlier this month that he was leaving Los Rojiblancos this summer and is now heavily linked with both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, a move to the Parisians also appears unlikely due to the financial cost involved in any such deal and their need to cut costs to meet UEFA Financial Fair Play regulations.
