Sergio Ramos questions Real Madrid future

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has shocked the club by saying he may leave the club this summer, say various reports in Spain.

Marca follow on from a report in La Sexta that the central defender has interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain while he is now open to an exit from the Spanish capital.

Ramos has continually told both clubs that he had no interest in a move but has now had a change of heart and believes a change of club would benefit both him personally and Madrid.

The report cites how the central defender had a well-reported argument with club president Florentino Perez following the Champions League exit against Ajax in March.

It is stressed that Madrid have yet to be informed directly of the 33-year-old’s decision but are now in anticipation of hearing the news ahead of a potential summer transfer saga.

The Spain international made 41 starts for the club this season but was among a number of underperforming players as Madrid endured a tough campaign.
