Atletico Madrid will have a transfer budget of over €200m for the summer transfer window, according to a report in Marca.
It is outlined how a series of star first-team player exits will generate significant transfer funds while also freeing up a lot of wages.
Antoine Griezmann is set to leave the club this summer when his €120m release clause is met, although 20% of his future sell-on fee is set to go to former club Real Sociedad meaning Atleti will receive just €96m for any sale.
Lucas Hernandez has already been sold to Bayern Munich for €80m, while €7.5m is said to be generated by the exit of Lucas Vietto, currently on loan at Fulham, to Sporting CP.
Established first-team squad members Diego Godin and Juanfran Torres are also leaving the club this summer when their contracts expire, while a similar situation is expected for Filipe Luis.
Midfielder Rodri, who has a €70m release clause, has also been linked with a summer exit while Gelson Martins and Nikola Kalinic have also been mentioned with exits.
