The agent of Gareth Bale insists the player is “fine” at Real Madrid despite intense speculation that the club are looking to sell him.
Zinedine Zidane has reiterated his actions are “very clear” after he left Gareth Bale out of the matchday squad at Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Los Blancos fell to a 3-1 defeat in Anoeta with the 29-year-old Welshman not included in the travelling party, as his exit from the club appears to be inching ever closer.
However, Jonathan Barnett has now come out and once again reiterated that the forward remains happy at the club and has no immediate intentions of leaving.
“Gareth is fine, he is still a Real player with three years left on his contract,” Barnett is cited as saying by ESPN FC.
“He has always been clear about that. And if he is picked he will play.
“You would have to ask Mr. Zidane what he wants to do, but Gareth will keep trying.”
Reports in Spain say Madrid will look to sell Bale this summer but cannot find a buying club.
