Ivan Rakitic slams Barcelona exit rumours

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has reacted angrily to media reports that he has agreed a deal to move to Inter Milan this summer.

The Croatian midfielder has been in prolonged talks with the club about a three year contract extension – and has repeatedly stated his desire to remain at the Camp Nou.

Club President Josep Bartomeu has regularly been questioned about Rakitic's contract situation, and he has consistently said they want to reach a deal, but it will be addressed in the summer.

However stories have surfaced in the last few days that his brother Dejan was already in negotiations with the Italian side over a move to the San Siro for the 31-year old.

The former Sevilla man has since moved to rubbish claims of a €50m deal being agreed.

"If you could stop inventing things, I would really appreciate it, he posted on his official Instagram account.

"I am concentrating on winning the double with Barcelona and being here for many years to come.

"Also my agent is Arturo Canales (not Dejan)."
