Manchester United look to Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas

Manchester United could look to sign Keylor Navas from Real Madrid this summer if David de Gea leaves, states a report in Diario AS.

The Costa Rican agreed a move to Old Trafford in the summer of 2015 in a swap deal with the Spain international before the deal fell through at the eleventh hour.

The fresh report claims how Navas recently employed super-agent Jorge Mendes with the intention of negotiating an exit from the club, while de Gea has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Navas has been behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order for the majority of the season while Luca Zidane, son of Zinedine, has also been selected ahead of the Costa Rican.

The 32-year-old has started just nine La Liga matches this campaign although six of them have arrived since the French boss returned in March.

PSG and Porto have both been linked with a move to the former Levante shot-stopper, with both on the lookout for a reinforcement in that area.

However, Cadena Cope have argued that Navas still wishes to remain at Los Blancos beyond this summer and fight for his first-team spot going forwards.

The shot-stopper is under contract in Madrid until the summer of 2020 meaning that the club may decide to cash in on him this summer.
