Real Madrid tell Bale, Ceballos, Llorente to leave

Real Madrid have told Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos and Marcos Llorente they will be allowed to leave this summer, report Marca.

The front page of Tuesday’s edition claims the three players have been personally told by Zinedine Zidane that they do not feature in the club’s plans for next season.

It is reported that all players in the squad of Los Blancos will hold a face-to-face meeting with the Frenchman with these three players the first to be spoken to.

The report continues that Bale’s meeting was ‘short and tense’ while there are other meetings scheduled for all players over the remainder of the week.

The 29-year-old has been the subject of intense speculation that he may leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

However, Bale’s current contract runs through until 2022 and a buying club for the former Tottenham man cannot be found.

It is reported that Ceballos ‘never got on’ at a personal level with Zidane, who only afforded him four league starts in the 2017/18 campaign.

Fellow Spanish midfielder Llorente is also set to depart this summer, the report continues, again due to a lack of first-team minutes.
