Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has explained his team ‘must take advantage’ of playing Barcelona: “We face the best team in the world.”
The Senagalese attacker also spoke of his future amid reports that he could one day move to the Spanish top flight, with links to Real Madrid.
“It was a good experience to play last year's final, buttomorrow we are facing the best team in the world, we want to take advantage of that experience,” Mane told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“A future move to Spain? It’s a very good question, the Spanish league is very good, but the Premier is a fantastic competition and I am really happy there.
“The Camp Nou is a wonderful stadium, since I'm little I have watched Barcelona and La Liga and I love watching football, it will be great to play in a stadium like that because all the players want to play there these days.”
Mane struck in the Champions League final against Los Blancos last May, a game in which Madrid ultimately ran out 3-1 victors.
The forward has a contract at Anfield through to the summer of 2023 having joined the club from Southampton in 2016.
