Adidas agree Real Madrid kit extension

Real Madrid have agreed a new 12 year deal with Adidas for a huge €1.6 billion to the club.

Los Blancos will sign the contract at the end of the current season – when their current deal with the German manufacturers expires.

The extension will see Zinedine Zidane's side become Adidas' most expensive sponsorship deal.

According to the details of the deal – via a report in Marca – Real Madrid will receive 20% of related sales and €9 from Adidas for their own club supplies.

Adidas also confirmed they will be opening a shop at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the store rumoured to be their biggest site in the world.

They have already confirmed agreements to extend the contract of Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Manchester United into the 2019-20 season.
