Zidane: I know my transfer targets this summer

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has confirmed he has already identified his transfer targets ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

The Frenchman is expected to make significant changes an ageing Los Blancos squad in the close season, with club president Florentino Perez willing to back him with a sizeable transfer war chest.

"I will be speaking to the club about transfers as I already know perfectly who I want to bring in.

"However I will not be disclosing any names at this stage."

Zidane has been linked with moves for Premier League pair Eden Hazard and Paul Pogba, as well as battling Barcelona for Benfica's Luka Jovic and Ajax's Matthijs De Ligt.

It is also widely reported that he may also have to raise funds to supplement Perez's cash injection – with Gareth Bale and Isco both rumoured to be nearing an exit – however the former Galactico confirmed that no conversation had taken with either player.

Both players are under contract at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2022, and it would take a huge bid to prise either away from the Spanish capital.
