Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde believes that Lionel Messi deserves every bit of praise he receives after the Argentinian netted twice in a brilliant display against Manchester United.
Messi's brace secured Barcelona's passage into the last four for the first time since 2015, and his manager was almost lost for words at full time.
"Messi always steps up in these key games.
"When he is in this type of form, he is unstoppable."
Barcelona will now face a semi final against either Liverpool and Porto, and the former Athletic Bilbao boss knows his side needs to maintain their consistency.
"In the Champions League is never certain, at any time.
"We have to keep our level up, no matter what the firs leg score is.
"I want to win the Champions League and I am excited to progress into the next round."
