Zinedine Zidane wants striker Raul de Tomas back at Real Madrid next season, according to a report in Diario AS this weekend.
De Tomas is currently on loan from the Santiago Bernabeu at relegation battling Rayo Vallecano, and he has netted 13 La Liga goals as they fight against a return to the Segunda Division.
The 24 year-old is on loan in Vallecas for the second successive season, and they could make an offer for him in the summer, after his contract expires with Los Blancos.
There is also interest in him from Real Betis and Valencia, however the Madrid native is reported to be keen to stay in the Spanish capital.
If he chooses to extend his contract with Real Madrid, he is only set for a squad role, however Zidane is a fan of him having managed him during his time with Castilla side.
