Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has spoken of his admiration for Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane by claiming only Pele is comparable.
The France international met the famous former Brazil international in Paris and said that he only held Zizou on the same level of admiration as Pele.
“Zizou is the only one who has impressed me as Pele,” said Mbappe, as cited by El Espanol.
The France international has his 54 goals in 82 appearances for PSG and has been heavily linked to Los Blancos across the time period since.
A sensational report from France Football last month claimed Madrid president Florentino Perez had given his personal approval for the move and will lay the groundwork for a deal €280m move.
The 20-year-old has been elevated into one of world football’s most sought-after stars following a €170m switch to the Parisians from Monaco in the summer of 2017.
Madrid have been heavily linked with a summer bid for the former Monaco player, with significant investment in the squad expected during the close season.
