France Football have reported that it is time for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to join Real Madrid, in their latest edition.
Marca cite the French publication as covering the 26-year-old’s future and say that “it is time to leave” for the player to “fulfil his desire for success and greatness.”
The report claims that despite the France international being happier playing under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rather than his predecessor Jose Mourinho, but many limitations still remain.
It cites how the Red Devils are likely to play in the Europa League next season and there is no indication that they are set to return to Europe’s elite group of clubs.
Pogba is said to have a strong desire to win the Ballon d’Or and this would be out of his reach whilst still playing at Old Trafford.
The midfielder returned to United in the summer of 2016 from Juventus in a €95m deal, which was then a world record.
