Atletico target Thorgan Hazard set for Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Thorgan Hazard – a reported target of Atletico Madrid – is reportedly set to join Borussia Dortmund.

The Belgian international, brother of Chelsea playmaker Eden, is out of contract at the Bundesliga club in the summer of 2020 and they could cash in this summer.

The 25-year-old is said to be valued at €40m by the German outfit but Thierry Hazard, the father and agent of Thorgan, is said by Sport Bild to be confident a €25m move could be brokered.

However, Kicker now claim the player will join Dortmund to replace Christian Pulisic, who is joining Chelsea this summer for €64m.

Thorgan had been strongly linked to Atletico alongside Valencia and Sevilla but it now appears he will stay in the Bundesliga.

Gladbach could miss out on qualification for this season’s Champions League and has nine league goals to his name this campaign.
