Real Madrid plan to loan out Brahim Diaz

Real Madrid plan to loan out midfielder Brahim Diaz next season in a bid to earn him more first-team action, report Marca.

The 19-year-old joined Los Blancos in January in a €15m move from Manchester City but Sunday’s league victory over Huesca was his first start for the club.

Brahim had previously made three substitute appearances for the European champions – two of which came in the Copa del Rey – and Madrid want him to play 40 matches or more next season.

Madrid are said to be wary of avoiding the case of Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who joined Leganes on loan but failed to dislodge number one goalkeeper Ivan Cuellar.

The club are said to hold a preference for Diaz joining a top-flight club in Spain who can guarantee him a regular spot in their side.
