Thibaut Courtois tells Eden Hazard: ‘Come to Real Madrid’

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has admitted he wants former Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard to reunite with him in the Spanish capital.

Last month, the Chelsea playmaker told RMC Sport that he had made a decision about his future with it widely reported he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge to join Los Blancos.

Hazard also recently said he ‘did not want any regrets’ on his career in the latest of a long-running line of hints that he would be open to a move to Madrid.

“I don’t know his future, and I don’t know if the club wants to sign him, but he is one of my closest friends in football, so I want him to come here,” Courtois told El Larguero.

The Belgian goalkeeper also addressed comments he made about teammate Gareth Bale, and insisted there was no problems between the two or within the squad.

“We speak a lot, we get on well and we both like golf!”
