Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is the primary summer transfer target for Real Madrid, according to a report in Marca.
Returning Madrid boss is said to be a long-term admirer of the forward – who has netted 53 goals in 111 appearances for the Merseyside club.
Last week, France Football reported the Coach, who returned to the Madrid hotseat this month, is a long-term admirer of the Senegalese attacker and he is an objective.
The 26-year-old has struck 17 goals this season and the same report claims Los Blancos had monitored a deal for the former Southampton man last summer, before Zidane’s departure.
Mane struck in the Champions League final between the two clubs last May, a game in which Madrid ultimately ran out 3-1 victors.
The forward has a contract at Anfield through to the summer of 2023 having joined the club from Southampton in 2016.
