Brazilian international Filipe Luis has returned to full training with Atletico Madrid following an calf injury.
The experienced defender picked up their injury in their La Liga game away at Real Sociedad, and he has missed the last three games for Diego Simeone's side in domestic and European action.
With the bulk of Atletico's squad away on international duty, Luis has stepped up his efforts to return to the first team, as they prepare to held to Alaves next weekend.
Juanfran has stepped in to cover during the absence of Luis, but he has struggled with an unfamiliar position, and Simeone will be able to call on a specialist left back – particularly as Lucas Hernandez is still out of action.
Fellow defender Santiago Arias and midfielder Vitolo are both still only fit enough for light training, alongside Hernandez, and they should be back in action by mid-April.
