Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is set to miss two weeks of action with an ankle sprain, the club has confirmed in a statement on Monday.
The Uruguayan is not set to miss any first-team football for the Blaugrana and instead will recover from his injury over the international break.
The club has confirmed the striker is set to miss between 10 and 15 days of action and could return for the city derby against Espanyol on 30 March.
Instead, the 32-year-old will not travel with Uruguay for their international fixtures this week and will recover in the Catalan capital.
Suarez sustained the injury in Sunday evening’s 4-1 victory at Real Betis, where he netted his 18th La Liga goal of the campaign.
