Milan keen on Barcelona’s Marc Cucurella

Milan are keen on signing the in-demand full-back Marc Cucurella, on loan at Eibar from Barcelona, say reports.

Goal.com say the Rossoneri would be willing to pay up to €11m for the Spaniard while last week reports had linked Borussia Dortmund to the defender.

Diario Sport had led on the reports that the left-back, who is impressing during a season-long loan deal at the Basque club, is attracting interest from elsewhere.

Eibar have a €2m option to purchase the 20-year-old permanently at the end of the season and the deal is expected to go through, although the Blaugrana reportedly want to add in future clauses.

The full-back has made 21 first-team appearances at Ipurua this season and has shown a lot of potential, to attract scouts from several leading European clubs.

The report claims the player’s future is very much up in the air at this point, with Eibar likely to make his move permanent but could then consider an immediate sale for a profit.

Cucurella is also a Spain youth international, having represented his country between Under-16 and Under-20 levels.
