Alvaro Morata has spoken of his happiness at Atletico Madrid after netting twice in their 2-0 win over Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Morata now has three La Liga goals at the club where he played as a teenager, and he expressed his delight at how quickly he has settled into Diego Simeone's side.
"Forwards are always judged by their goals, but on the whole I am happy with how well I have adapted, he told beIN Sports.
"I am happy because I have had a difficult time in recent seasons.
"My teammates have made it very easy for me to adapt to life at the club."
Atletico Madrid remain second in La Liga, seven points behind league leaders Barcelona, and Morata reiterated that they are not giving up on the title race just yet.
"When you are not just depending on your own results, you just have to do your job and hope.
"We have a chance and if we continue in this way we will win every game between now and the end of the season.
"We will fight to the end of the season."
