Liverpool want move for Barcelona’s Malcom

Liverpool have emerged as frontrunners to sign out-of-favour Barcelona forward Malcom this summer, according to reports.

Le10Sport say the Merseyside club are keen for a deal for the Brazilian, who has started just one La Liga games since a €41m summer switch from Bordeaux.

The former Corinthians player scored the equaliser for the Blaugrana against Real Madrid in the first leg of last week’s Copa del Rey semi-final, but has found first-team opportunities limited outside of that competition.

The 21-year-old has also been linked with a move to a Chinese club and while Barca have no intention of selling him, the lack of first-team football could see a move come to fruition.
