Jese Rodriguez set for Real Betis loan move

Former Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez looks set to join Real Betis on a loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain, claim reports.

Marca and Diario AS both claim the forward, who has not featured in any matchday squad for the French club this season, will be reunited with Quique Setien – whom he worked under at Las Palmas.

The Spaniard – who has not played a single minute of football this season – turns 26 next month while reports from December stated the player was likely to join Real Valladolid.

Jese scored three goals in 16 appearances for his hometown club Las Palmas in a loan stint in the second half of 2016/17 after netting just twice in 14 appearances in Paris.

The former Spain Under-21 international made a total of 94 first-team appearances for Real Madrid and previously had also been linked with loan moves to Huesca and Torino.
