Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has passed a medical with Atletico Madrid this morning, and he is expected to complete his loan move to the club later today.
The Spanish international returns to the club where he played as a youth team player, and he expressed his delight after the medical examination, at taking a step closer to sealing the move.

He is expected to meet up with his new teammates later today, with a formal announcement of the transfer scheduled for late afternoon.
