Sevilla have responded to missing out on Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata by returning for Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, say ESPN FC.
The 23-year-old has previously been linked to the Andalusian club, who have already reinforced their attack this winter with the €1m signing of Munir El Haddadi from Barcelona.
Los Rojiblancos, whose striker Luis Muriel has joined Fiorentina, have also agreed a deal to sign RB Salzburg striker Munas Dabbur next summer in a €15m deal.
Martial has reportedly been negotiating a new long-term contract at Old Trafford but this fresh report casts a degree of doubt upon whether or not this will eventually be signed.
However, the Frenchman’s run of games in United’s first-team under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, coupled with his wage demands, seemingly make any move to Sevilla unlikely.
