Real Madrid reject offers for Javi Sanchez

Real Madrid have turned down offers from three clubs, including AFC Bournemouth, for highly-rated central defender Javi Sanchez.

The 21-year-old has only appeared once as a substitute in La Liga but has featured twice in the Champions League and a handful of Copa del Rey clashes for the club.

The defender’s deal at the European champions runs through until June 2020 and his contract is said to contain a €300m release clause to ward off potential suitors.

However, Diario Sport say that three clubs have made an offer for Sanchez – Spanish duo Real Valladolid and Real Sociedad, alongside Bournemouth of the English Premier League.

Madrid are said to have hope of Sanchez making a lasting impact at the club and his promise has persuaded them not to move for Espanyol’s Mario Hermoso.
