Napoli and Sevilla negotiate on Marko Rog

Sevilla and Napoli are said to be locked in negotiations over the loan deal for the Italian side’s midfielder Marko Rog.

Carlo Ancelotti confirmed a press conference earlier this week that Rog was the most likely to leave on a loan deal during the January transfer window.

CalcioNapoli24 say Napoli will only sanction such a move with a percentage of a future resale or the right to buy back Rog from the Andalusian club.

The report states the value of a compulsory option could be as high as €40m, which could scupper any move in its entirety.

The 23-year-old joined the Italian side in 2016 from Dinamo Zagreb but has made just six starts in that time, with an incredible 46 substitute appearances in the same timeframe.

That deal cost the Italian club €14.5m and he could continue a busy month at Sevilla, who have already completed the signing of striker Munir El Haddadi from Barcelona and Ajax defender Maximilian Wober.
