Napoli midfielder Marko Rog wants to join Sevilla despite reports that German club Schalke have agreed a loan deal.
Reports in Sky Sport Italia say the Croatian international will join the Bundesliga club in a six-month loan deal, which does not include an option to buy.
However, CalcioNapoli24 argue the midfielder would rather join Sevilla due to the greater opportunities of winning trophies.
The 23-year-old joined the Italian side in 2016 from Dinamo Zagreb but has made just six starts in that time, with an incredible 46 substitute appearances in the same timeframe.
