Middlesbrough forward and Denmark international Martin Braithwaite is set to join Spanish club Leganes, report Marca.
The Madrid-based club have agreed personal terms with the player and a move is imminent following the reopening of the transfer window this month.
The report claims Leganes had wanted to include a purchase option within the loan deal, which is to last until the end of the campaign, but that this was rejected by Boro.
Braithwaite joined the English club from Toulouse in 2017 but after four months returned to Ligue 1 as he joined Bordeaux on a loan deal.
He has featured 19 times for Middlesbrough this campaign, netting three goals.
