Sevilla, Real Betis join race for West Ham's Javier Hernandez

Real Betis and Sevilla have joined Valencia in the race to sign out-of-favour West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez, say Marca.

Earlier this week, Diario AS cited a report in Levante-EMV that Los Che boss Marcelino Garcia Toral has given the green light for the deal while the player himself is keen on a move to the Mestalla.

However, now Marca report that both clubs in the Andalusian capital are also keen on Chicharito, while the Hammers have put a €20m price on his head.

Mexico's all-time leading scorer is said to want regular first-team football and is keen for a move to La Liga due to lack of game time at the East London club.

Hernandez spent the 2014/15 campaign on loan at Real Madrid, where he netted seven goals in seven league starts and has played in Germany and England since.

In an interview with Marca last month, the strike ‘did not rule out’ a departure from the Hammers: “My only desire is to play as much as possible and earn a starting place.”
