Getafe are closing in on the January signing of Leeds United midfielder Samu Saiz, according to various reports in Spain.
Marca lead the reports that the 27-year-old, who has started 15 league games for the English club this campaign, has agreed terms with Los Azulones.
Saiz previously spent two years of his career at Getafe between 2011 and 2013 but was mainly used in their B team, before later moving on to Atletico Madrid and Huesca.
The central midfielder joined the Yorkshire side in a €3.5m deal in 2017 and has already been spotted at Getafe’s stadium.
The move is said to have been speeded up following Getafe’s Amath Ndiaye rupturing the cruciate ligament in his right knee.
