There are conflicting reports in the Catalan sporting press over the future of Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic with interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Catalunya Ràdio journalist Quique Guasch reported that there was an agreement between the player and the club to sell next summer for below his €125m release clause.
However, El Mundo Deportivo report that such a report is untrue with sources close to both the club and the player denying any truth to the rumours.
Rakitic joined Barca from Sevilla in the summer of 2014 and has won three La Liga titles and a Champions League crown whilst at the club.
The Croatian’s deal at Camp Nou runs through until the summer of 2021.
