Real Madrid aim to sign Corinthians winger Pedrinho in January

Real Madrid have opened negotiations to sign Corinthians winger Pedrinho and have plans to loan him to Real Valladolid, according to Cadena Ser.

The European champions are said to be in negotiations with the Brazilian club to sign the 20-year-old on a permanent deal and are hopeful of concluding discussions by January.

The highly-rated Brazilian made his first-team debut for Corinthians last year and has now made 68 first-team appearances, with the capacity of playing on either wing or as an attacking midfielder.

This season, Pedrinho has made six appearances in the Copa Libertadores alongside 32 in Brazil’s Serie A but now looks set for a move to Spain.

The loan to Valladolid is thought to be fuelled by close relations between their president Ronaldo Nazario and Madrid’s Florentino Perez.
