Cordoba have appointed former Valencia midfielder Curro Torres as their new Coach to replace the outgoing Jose Ramon Sandoval.
Torres spent a decade in Los Che’s first-team squad between 1999 and 2009 whilst also winning five caps for the Spanish national team.
The 41-year-old German-born Coach has previously been at the helm of Valencia’s B team along with Lorca and Croatian side NK Istra 1961.
The Andalusian club lie second from bottom in La Liga 123 with just two victories from their opening 14 league matches and fell to a 3-1 home defeat to Cadiz on Sunday.
