Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club Bilbao are among the clubs interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera, say Diario AS.
The 29-year-old is out of contract at Old Trafford next summer, meaning that he is theoretically available to a number of clubs on a free transfer.
Roma are also said to be in the running for the central midfielder, who the Manchester Evening News say the Red Devils are keen to maintain and have open discussions for a new deal.
However, from January onwards the former Real Zaragoza and Athletic Club midfielder will be available to speak to other clubs should a new deal in Manchester not be reached.
Herrera joined United in 2014 in a €30m deal and has made 169 appearances to date for the club, scoring 17 goals.
