Quique Setien: Johan Cruyff would’ve been happy Real Betis won

Real Betis boss Quique Setien claims Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff ‘would’ve been happy his team had lost’ to his side on Sunday.

“Teams always come to this field, knowing that they’ll suffer,” said the Coach after the Andalusians’ 4-3 win at Camp Nou.

“However, we also know that with our mechanisms and the things we do well, we can have the ball if we play with character and are able to soak up pressure.

“We had a great game against a great team. We showed great character and read the game very well.

“Winning here and scoring four goals is something that will stay with us forever. To all those who like real football, who try to see things beyond the result, they’ll have liked what they saw.

“Cruyff would’ve been happy that his team had lost. That’s why there are many people who like and enjoy Betis, and we’re proud of that.

“Although we know the result is vital, it’s also one to remember.”
