Liverpool ‘to move for Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele’

Liverpool are considering a move for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele in January, according to reports.

Diario Sport have cited a report from English outlet The Express which claims the Frenchman is on Liverpool’s radar due to his lack of minutes at the Camp Nou.

The Catalan giants are said to be concerned about the Frenchman’s attitude, including turning up late to training sessions and pre-match preparation.

The 21-year-old has started ten matches for the Blaugrana this campaign, scoring six goals,  but there are concerns that the forward is not valued highly by Coach Ernesto Valverde.

RAC1 have previously claimed Dembele could be sold by Barca in 2019 while earlier this year, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp claimed: “Is he on the market? Now I'm interested.”

The forward joined Barca from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2017 for an initial €105m with an additional €35m in instalments.
