Sevilla bid for hosting 2021 Europa League final

Sevilla's Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium will compete with Vienna and Tbilisi for the right to host the 2021 Europa League final.

The Andalusian club have a special relationship with the tournament having won it more than any other club and five times since 2006.

The stadium in southern Spain will be directly up against bids from Austrian capital Vienna and Tbilisi, in Georgia.

The formal proposals from each venue must be submitted to UEFA by 15 February 2019 with an executive committee then sitting to decide upon the winner.

The city of Seville hosted the 2003 UEFA Cup final, when FC Porto defeated Glasgow Celtic 3-2 in La Cartuja – a stadium without a host club.
