‘Florentino Perez has destroyed Real Madrid and Spain’ – Marc Crosas

Former Barcelona youth player and current TV pundit Marc Crosas believes Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has ‘destroyed’ Spain and Madrid.

Crosas, a former Spain Under-21 international who played with Glasgow Celtic, currently works on Mexican television but made the scathing comments on his social media account.

“If you’re going to die at the Camp Nou, you have to do it with a performance like in the second half,” Crosas analysed on his Twitter account, in a report cited by Diario AS.

“Sad Lopetegui. Barcelona were resilient and lethal despite not having Messi while they had big displays from both Suarez and Jordi Alba.

“Does Florentino (Perez) have a clear conscience? In four months he has destroyed the Spanish national team and now he is doing the same to the best Real Madrid team in recent years.”

Crosas then continued in a follow up tweet with criticism of Spain boss Luis Enrique: “Nacho starts for Spain but Jordi Alba watches matches from home.

“This is something that even Lopetegui could not understand.”
