Spain international Marcos Alonso has signed a new contract at Chelsea that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2023.
The 27-year-old joined the West London club in 2016 from Fiorentina and has netted 15 goals in 92 appearances, earning him his first international call-up this year.
“I am so happy to stay here longer and to keep playing for one of the best teams in the world,” Alonso said, as cited by Chelsea club media.
“It's been a very good two seasons and I am looking forward to more.”
Alonso has won a Premier League title and FA Cup trophy since joining Chelsea.
