Real Madrid could be without forward Vinicius Junior for a month due to the upcoming South American Under-20 tournament.
The tournament runs from 20 January through to 13 February and the 18-year-old could be involved with Brazil alongside future Madrid teammate Rodrygo Goes.
A report in Diario AS outlines the potential arrangement after Brazil Under-20 Coach Carlos Amadeu called the duo up for a friendly this month against Chile.
Vinicius has appeared for the European champions in back-to-back La Liga games against Atletico Madrid and Alaves respectively after representing the Castilla side.
However, the clubs are not required to release players for the tournament as it is not on FIFA’s official schedule.
