Real Madrid have been handed a boost on their injury front with full-back Marcelo returning to full first-team training.
The Brazilian defender limped off in the second half of the recent 3-0 defeat at Sevilla and has not featured in Madrid’s three matches since.
“I’m fine, almost 100%,” Marcelo is cited as saying by Diario AS.
“I have now trained with the ball for the past two days after going through physical tests and the international break has arrived at the right time for me.”
Madrid do not have a natural left-back as back-up to Marcelo following Theo Hernandez’s loan exit to Real Sociedad, with Nacho Fernandez among those deployed in the position.
