Real Madrid want to bring forward the signing of Brazilian forward Rodrygo Goes to January, according to reports in Spain.
The 17-year-old has starred with Santos in his native Brazil but will join Madrid next year after the two club’s struck a €45m deal this summer.
El Español report the European champions now want the teenager to link up with the first-team squad this winter, as soon as he turns in 18 on 9 January.
Earlier this week, Rodrygo was nominated for the inaugural Kopa Trophy – the Ballon d’Or for Under-21 players, and it is thought Madrid want to include him in their Castilla side.
Rodrygo has made over 50 first-team appearances for Santos despite his youth.
