Huesca consider sacking Coach Leo Franco

Huesca Coach Leo Franco may become the first managerial casualty of the season in La Liga, according to reports in Spain.

The local branch of Cope say the Argentine is on the brink at the newly-promoted club, having won just five points in their opening eight matches.

Sunday’s 1-0 loss at Real Valladolid piled the pressure on Franco, whose side have not won a game since the opening day triumph at Eibar.

Huesca are now rooted to the bottom of the Spanish top flight and are set to hold a board meeting later on Tuesday to discuss the former goalkeeper’s future, having been appointed only in July.
